At Tammy Iacomella Cake Design we love baking cakes just as much as decorating. We are passionate about flavours and the provenance of our ingredients. All of our cakes are made fresh to order using as many local fresh West Australian ingredients as possible. From concept to creation Tammy consults with clients providing personal, professional advice so that your cake dream becomes a reality. Our design aesthetic is fresh, elegant and contemporary.  

Our Fondant Finish Cakes are always filled and coated with delicious layers of chocolate ganache. This provides a firm stable base with straight, sharp edges. We then cover with a thin {3mm} layer of flawless fondant in preparation for the decorative elements. We are delighted to offer a choice of either dark or white chocolate ganache with our fondant finish cakes. Ganache can be flavoured with a variety of delicious fruit zests and infused with many different flavours. If you need advice with flavour combinations please don't hesitate to ask. 

Buttercream Cakes have become increasingly popular, especially the semi-naked and naked style. The design is a more relaxed, boho chic informal look. Buttercreams can be decorated with fresh florals and an assortment of edibles including fresh berries, sugar pearls and the popular chocolate and toffee drips.

If decorating with fresh flowers be advised many commercially grown flowers have come into contact with toxic sprays and chemicals that are not food safe and should not come into contact with the cake surface. Organically or hydroponically grown flowers, free from pesticides are a safer option. If you would like your cake decorated with fresh flowers we recommend that you order these from your florist. We are delighted to liaise with your florist and assist with suitability and correct placement: however we cannot be liable for any contamination to our cakes that may occur with the misuse of fresh flowers.

Our Buttercream Cakes are layered with jams, curds and seasonal fresh fruits and finished with a flourish of our delicious white chocolate buttercream. Buttercream cakes do require refrigeration: please keep this in mind when selecting your cake.

Please note all of our cakes do contain wheat, eggs and dairy. They are also made in a kitchen which uses nuts. We currently do not offer a gluten free option.
